Fire consumes St. Cloud residence

A house fire at 1253 Hancock Circle in St. Cloud left the residence completely engulfed in flames Thursday, but none of the family or pets were injured.

St. Cloud Police and Fire Rescue responded to the emergency around 5 p.m. Thursday. It was extinguished by St. Cloud firefighters by 6:40 p.m., but the structure is no longer considered livable, according the St. Cloud Fire Department Spokeswoman Officer Diara Wesler. Family living in the home received no injuries, and two cats were rescued from the home.

The Fire Marshal is currently investigating the cause of the fire.
